Well, only one more day left before this year's Fletcher Baseball Championships go final for the 12u, 13u & 14u age divisions . . . today saw some excellent baseball action played in all age groups . . . the Finals are now set for the 13u & 14u age divisions, and are kicked off with by the 14u's playing at 9am at the Charleston RiverDogs' home stadium, "The Joe" . . . tomorrow's 13u game has been pushed back from a 1:00pm to an 11:00am starting time because bad weather is once again in the forecast & is scheduled to hit sometime in the afternoon . . . in 12u action today the Home Plate Chili Dogs of Georgia came up from the Challenger's side of the Championship Bracket & rallied from behind to upset the Winner's Bracket undefeated  Florence Insanity of South Carolina, which means they will have to play a final Championship game, also shifted backwards from 1:00pm, now slated to begin at 11:00am at Gahagan field . . . For all final Fletcher Baseball Championship pairings, check out the records & standings by clicking on the age divisions listed above, there you will find all the scores from Pool Play, Bracket, Round Robin & Consolation games . . . for individual Team Stats, click on our weblink & browse through the different teams to see how everyone is doing . . . all team & individual stats listed have been provided by each of the individual team's scorekeepers, so if your team's missing, it's because they didn't turn the team stats into us . . . Today Mother Nature graced us with excellent weather and the teams displayed their skills on fields that were in perfect condition . . .

the finals for the Silver Single-Elimination Bracket were held for the 13u & 14u age divisions and you can find all the scoring results & standings by clicking on their age division above . . .

in the 12u age division Round Robin consolation play concluded and the finals will be held tomorrow afternoon,
and, unless the team climbing up from the challenger bracket overcomes the winners bracket team, we will be posting
our 12u Fletcher Baseball Champion right here tomorrow evening!!!

Saturday will find the 14u finalists competing at 9:00am
for the 14u Fletcher Baseball Championship Title at the Charleston RiverDog's Joe Riley Stadium . . . also known
simply as "The Joe" . . . that game will be followed by the 13u Championships at Gahagan Park, where the first pitch
will take place at 1:00pm . . .

everyone is invited to come out & attend the games to see some of the finest youth baseball competition on home soil.

CHARLESTON, SC   Greetings! . . . For the 3rd day in a row our schedule of events has been affected by rain . . . several games from Sunday & now additional ones from Monday have been suspended and are pending completion on Tuesday . . .
some of the late afternoon games were also rescheduled
to Tuesday due to several of the fields needing additional
time to allow for drainage & drying from the 3 days of on-again-off-again rain . . . please check each of the different age division schedules to see how it affects your individual team.

On the bright side we WERE able to complete our slate of Individual Skills competitions, picnic & fireworks program that was scheduled for Monday evening . . . many teams were left undaunted by the rain & were encouraged by the chance to compete in individual skills categories against rival teams & distant opponents alike and turned out to participate in this optional event . . . of course the free food factor could also be given a bit of credit as helping encourage attendance as well!!!

Sunday, July 8th, Fletcher Baseball Championships update . . .

CHARLESTON, SC   Mother Nature once again bestowed liquid sunshine upon our Championships and, as a result, our last set of games at the Gahagan Sports complex were postponed & will be completed on Tuesday morning, July 10th, at 10:00am, in addition to having a 14u game shifted to Tuesday & one of the 14u Monday 8:00am games pushed back to be played at 1:00pm . . . today's updated schedule & standings reflects the revised tournament Pool Play schedule . . . as a result of the rescheduling, final Pool Rankings will not be able to be accomplished until Tuesday at roughly Noon-1:00pm . . . if you want to contact us to verify your team standings you can call Dave at the Gahagan Sports complex, or, for final Pool rankings, call Dave anytime after Noon on Tuesday, July 10th, @  (843) 851-5211 . . .

For those teams not being able to have their team photos taken at the Saturday RiverDogs game, please try to visit Gahagan Field #2 before the Individual Skills Competition kicks off on Monday evening at 6:00pm & we will try to get your team photo taken at that time . . . if we are still not able to get it accomplished, then we shall catch up with your team at one of your scheduled Pool or Bracket games . . .

Sunday's competition had some upsets that look to have some serious affect on the Championship Bracket in all age divisions . . . please check out our updated standings to track how your favorite team has fared in our Championship event thus far . . .

We are beginning to sell out of our Charleston Tournament T-shirts & shorts, so make plans to get yours before they're all gone . . . once they're sold out, that's it, there won't be any additional ordering available . . . some sizes are already sold out . . . To repeat yesterday's update . . . Great news . . . the RiverDogs will be playing at Home on this Wednesday , Thursday & Friday and your rained-out game tickets from Saturday night will be honored at any of these games to give you and your team a chance to catch the Dogs back in action on the field . . . in fact, all teams will have the option of using them for ANY remaining RiverDogs Home game . . .

CHARLESTON, SC    We want to thank the teams for coming out
to "The Joe" for our Fletcher Baseball Championship Opening
Ceremonies . . .

We're glad the rain held off long enough for us to be able to complete
our Opening Ceremony Athletes Parade, however, it was a shame
that the game itself ended up being rained out . . .

Great news . . .
The RiverDogs will be playing at Home on this Wednesday,
Thursday & Friday and your game tickets will be honored at any
of these games to give you and your team a chance to catch the Dogs back in action on the field . . . in fact, all teams will have the
option of using them for ANY remaining RiverDogs Home game . . .

As for our slate of scheduled games on Sunday, the Saturday evening rain may or may not affect them . . . we will be checking out the fields early on Saturday morning & if there are to be any reschedules or
delays, we will attempt to reach the affected team coaches ASAP . . .

your interrest in participating in this year's 12U,13U
and 14u Championships in Charleston, SC. This year's
event will be played at GAHAGAN SPORTS COMPLEX, one
of SOUTH CAROLINA's finest youth baseball facilities.

This year's Championship features 12U, 13U & 14U
age groups. Our goal is to bring a great baseball experience
and in the process, also create a memorable family vacation.
This year's Championship features several new events to
make this one of the best tournaments yet.
