NEWS FLASH: 16U UPDATE     DATELINE: THURSDAY 9 PM

Day 3 concluded our 2009 FBC Pool Play preliminary rounds for seeding the 9 teams into a Championship Double-Elimination Bracket and a Silver Round-Robin competition . . . Puerto Rico sent two 16u teams to this years 2009 Fletcher Baseball Championships and each one is a favorite in the two separate divisions . . . the Puerto Rico Astros completed pool play as the #1 seed with an undefeated 3-0-1 record, scoring 19 runs and only allowing 8, garnering the top spot in the Championship Bracket . . . The Puerto Rico Braves finished pool play
with a 1-3-0 record placing them as the top seed in the Silver Round-Robin competition . . . The remainder of the other 7 team in the 16u Championship Bracket finished as follows . . . Johnny Mac Thunder, MO, 2nd place seed (3-0-1) . . . BigStix Gamers, GA, 3rd seed (3-1-0) . . . Titans Baseball, FL, 4th seed (2-1-1) . . . Florida Bombers Blue Sox, FL, 5th seed (2-2-0) . . . Jacksonville Blue Heat, FL, (2-2-0) . . . The two teams joining the Puerto Rico Braves in Silver Round Robin play are . . . Tampa Bay Angels, FL, (0-3-1) . . . and the Texas Heat, TX, (0-4-0) . . .
