NEWS FLASH: 16U UPDATE     DATELINE: FRIDAY 9 PM

Day 4 began the Championship & Silver Bracket play competitions with all the teams having been seeded from their initial 3 days of Pool play . . . Every day of the tournament has had rain in the forecast but it wasn't until noon of Day 4 that weather became an issue on the fields . . . and even then it wasn't rain, rather it was lightning . . . The games were lightning-delayed by roughly an hour but they were able to be completed in full & the light drizzle that was received actually helped settle the dry clay infields . . . The Texas Heat won both of it's Sliver Bracket games, clinching the Silver Bracket Championship, which will be awarded to them tomorrow . . . No 16u Teams were eliminated today, however, tomorrow will be quite different as the elimination rounds shall take their toll . . .   As a side note, all 4:15pm games for Day 4 were rescheduled to be played at 8:00am on Saturday, so look for more results than normal tomorrow!!!
